Delco EFI computer from JE model Camira $500
- ECU and loom is complete
- Most sensors (all necessary ones). Some are new!
- Never been used since removal from orig Camira
- Sourced out a cable to connect between a laptop and the ECU for on board tuning
- Will provide software too (never tested so no guarantee)
- It’s amazing how versatile the Delco EFI setups really are and at half the price
- Easy way to upgrade an old, already established EFI setup or a good upgrade from the ‘ugly’ carbie setup!
- In Adelaide
- Reason for sale, “abort project” 

Bump...
If your worried about what everybody else has said about the delco efi, don't listen to them as almost everyone i've spoken to who bagged the setup never had the complete setup in the first place (eg, running without TPS and/or MAP sensors causing the ECU not being aware of whats exactly is going on). Also they never had the right tools for tuning too.
You can ask me questions and hopefully i'd ne able to answer most for you.
Remember, if your in dought, just ask.
I'm negotiable on the price too.

frank,
1stly, you cannot just plug a cable into the delco 808 chipset and reprogram it - you have to remove the chip from it and erase/reprogram it.
kalmaker do an emulation board for the delco which will allow you to reprogram their chip - but the software is very complex. perhaps you are selling one of these setups?
there is free 808 software available for the delco - efilive etc.
ps last camira/delco ecu loom setup i had i sold for $150

I've done some research on the unit and the section where you obtain the errors codes from on the loom, you tap into it with a cable where on the other is a std serial db9 connector.
From this your able to program while in car without removing the chip and the better the software, the better the tuning capability. I haven't attempted this yet, but others have and have been successful. Just an easier option than removing the chip everytime.
And as i said, i'm negoitable on the price...

Me neither! The only way they can short out would be the result of dodgie wiring...

not hard at all - less than $50 for camira ECU - can get a VS ECU for $100 at wreckers..

the "Mad delco disease" was covered in zoom a while back, they thought it was caused by thechips comming away from the board, duy to shoddy construction. they said if it does it, just open it up and resolder the chips onto the board, should fix it...
