Bump!
The 3sge Ecu's are worth $100 alone,
All u have to do is swap over the plugs from the ecu (would take under 2 minutes, and you have the ecu/powerchip on, no need to get it tuned, I can have it adjusted slightly for more timing, even u can from powerchip!

how much of a difference does it really make? for 700 bucks i'd want it to do quite a bit

they make VERY GOOD difference, just like a professionally tuned piggyback or standalone... most cars getin something like 10-15kw and 20-30nm torque extra with 98 octane fuel.

Yeah they do a GREAT job in picking up power, I loved the response pickup, ESPECIALLY overtaking,
Fuel economy went up a decent amount too..
I just came back from great ocean road, a nearly stock celica with the powerchip was just AWESOME. I got 530kms out of 42 litres of (spirited) driving...

And yeah the 3sge Ecus are worth $100 anyway. so basically ur getting it for $660, and its tuned to maximum performance on 98 octane fuel..
So for $660 you get a great power/torque pickup from a tuned ecu which is bolt on ecu which u would remove your loom plugs and attach it to this one... and a 6 year warranty...

Trying a new system at the moment and don't want to throw away the PLUG and PLAY ability of this chip with its tunning..
I'd miss it for sure, Definitely a great system.. At one stage I had to fix up something on the car and didn't have the powerchip on for a while and found the power considerably decreased and lacked the Torque and kw of this unit!
