	| ne1 tried a wink mod? | Thu, 04 August 2005 13:59 | | |
	| Some may think its completely lame but I was wondering has anyone attempted / heard of a 'wink mod' for retractable lights eg. on the earlier celicas.
I imagine some sort of relay would be involved that would allow power to the motor on one light; one that cut power more quickly than usual. if u just flash ur lights in the celica, they stay up a couple of secs - would like something wrong with your celicas eye if it winked but wouldnt go down for a while...lol

oh well, your thoughts would be interesting and most likely entertaining

night all, have a good one

	| Yeah as it worked out you would need to turn one off then turn the headlights on so one came up.
it's ALOT of messing around so i was told.
but if there is a kit or something then let us know.

	| There is (or used to be) a kit available in the US for MkII Supra's to do this.
It seems like a lot of effort/expense to look like a giant retard though.

Yes looking like a retard is important, but you also need to remember that spending a lot of money and effort are very important as well

	| My trueno does this automatically..... If I flash the highbeams, the lights pop up, go down, then one will pop up and go down again...
No idea how/why but I'm not complaining!
   It isn't stock wiring btw..

	| jesus who cares, good luck with doing it mate. who cares about the people declaring it 'rice.' having a winking car certainly is nowhere near as pathetic as passing rice judgements over the internet | |

	| Ahhh...
Actually that lazy eye thing is a Japanese drift culture thing which has been ripped off by ricers, it used to be more commonly seen on busted ass s12 drift hacks than ricer cars, not that that makes it any more or less gay.
