Hey everyone I'm pretty new to this and am after some help. I'm looking at doing a conversion to my TA-23 as the 18-r is lacking speed. I live in SA and i am trying to find a place that does conversions to a budget. Im thinking along the lines of 4agze, or maybe a supra motor. I have about a 5 to 6k budget and am hoping to get one of these motors in. IF anyone can point me i the right direction to some contacts who do conversions cheaply it would be muchly appreciated. Thanks guys and I hope one of you guys can help me.
Matt (TA-23)

with $5-6k you SHOULD be able to get a 1g-gte motor put into your celica... have a look at the tech articles page here on toymods...

Or if Supercharging is more your thing the 1GGZE is also a relatively simple conversion.
The 4AGZE is a good engine but is only 1600cc
The 1GGZE is its 2000cc Big brother !

Silversup,
Mate the Toymods 1/4 mile record for over 1800cc Forced induction is held by a 1GGZE RA23 at around 14 flat from memory (Still waiting on the timeslip to get it up on the records page)
That was stret trim and street tyres. I recon there is also a good improvement to be made in driver technique on that run too ! (Too much wheelspin ! )
