ok before everyone start telling me to use the search button.
yes i have try.

the question is.

Has anyone ever put a RA40 front brakes on a ae86?
I heart that they are vented at the front.

if you've done this mod. is there any trouble that you have come across? what needed to be custom made?

thank guys.
i'm just looking for a cheap start off mods for my stopping.

Sorry mate, the RA40 has good old solids at the front and their just about adiquate for stopping it with a standard 18r-c. I'm not sure of the difference in diameter between an ae86 and a ra40 but if you download the dba cataloguie then you'll be able to see the difference straight away.

think from memory ra40 are bout 20mm bigger in disk size and the steering arms are 10mm longer then ae86 ones

got ra60, 65 sa63 all same there bigger and vented

u need complete strut change ae86 springs spring tops ova and use rt142 corona p/s arms

DO NOT CHANGE THE STRUTS UNLESS YOU DONT CARE ABOUT HANDLING!!!!!

track down some jdm vented brakes.!!
