jza70 Throttle position sensor / antisquat Sun, 07 August 2005 11:36 Go to next message
Hi all,

I get no antisquat on TEMS, now i know this can point to a throttle position sensor fault , and coupled with the fact i also get odd acceleration on occasions (and my timing is slightly out) i thought i'd check the TPS.

Has anyone got figures for testing the 1J TPS ? including gaps etc?

For the TPS, have a look at http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/articles/engine_2_41.htm
I know the above is for a 2J but from what I can tell the 1J TPS will be basically identical.

Regards

Peter
