does anyone know the phone number for ebay so i can sort out some issues!!!!!!!!11111111
i bid on 2 cars....my bid was double the next persons, but the bid didnt register, i have heard of this before
the items had 32 mins to go and i called the dude who was selling them as soon as i had made the bid, i went out came back....
checked emails etc
then i realised my new email hasnt been uploaded as i cant, because i got a new credit card and they havent got it registered
so i checked my messages, nothing, i want to complain, but they have this gay email system etc
i dont care if the call costs $5 a minute, as long as this gets sorted
in finishing FUCK EBAY
hard to use, no features and generally much worse than trademe.co.nz

Ebay are dodgy as hell man, you email support, you get "geoff" one time, then you reply and next "jack" replies, reply again and then it's "james"... great customer support, and every reply is a standard reply. I swear they have an automated system that makes the responses.
Want a problem resolved? That never happens... they are a pain.

Hah. Ebay Buyer Protection may arse.
I've been done over a couple of times, but they never cover me. "Your claim is too small"
Fuck that,
so I get my own back, but I shan't tell you how....

thanks for the responses guys
im working my way to getting the item!
i have recieved the "automated" response crap
their customer service is CRAP, but life goes on!
once i have the item, i am withdrawing my account!
i got a new credit card, so i cant sell anything cos my new credit card isnt registered! i cant even swap emails! fucking stupid thing!

hmm..
try using REPORTING YOU TO ACCC as your subject header and maybe when someone gets around to reading it, they'll sort of look at it a bit more carefully

meh, buyer beware. ebay is just as dodgy as any other online trading place (toymods included), and you can never trust anyone on there.. even ppl with high feedback may just be from phantom sales... (and 50 accounts  )
next time, update your details and check them before you want to bid...
and if you miss out on something it's not the end of the world... there's bound to be something just as crap listed on there next week

My sentiments exactly
Ebay is just a dodgy as every other joint.
In fact, I'd think toymods is must more secure than ebay, because of the relative closed user group.
Just treat ebay with the respect it deserves... None..
and you'll be fine.
