Where can i find a tacho at a reasonable price the lowest costing tacho i found was $299 without a shift light what kind of deal is that? i just need a cheap tacho so i can read my revs on my AE82 corolla because it doesn't come with a rev meter

Have you considered buying a factory tacho dash? It will look a whole lot better and probably cheaper.

super cheap sell small (the size or a normal one) tachos for like $50 or something

repco out my way sells ones for about 99 i think with a shift light. I used it on my old mazda and it worked well. let me know if you want me to pick you one up and send it down

A 4AC surely does have a rev limiter - it's called restriction. Think of a 77 year old bloke with lung cancer running the 400m, and that's kind of like getting more than 4 grand out of a 4AC
