I'm guessing the front end is similar to an RA23/28 Celica, so the same upgrades would apply. MA61 Supra struts/brakes would be a fairly decent option.
if its macpherson strut then try RT132 twin piston setup (u can also stick a puegeot vented disc and hilux 4pot caliper on there)
if its that other style suspension setup with the 2 wishbones there are some model coronas that come with the 2 piston+ 10.5 inch solid disc RT132 brakes on it perhaps these might swap over
