I'm having trouble finding suitable attachments for mine to cut metal. Seems all the grinding and sanding disc's I find just get chewed up to nothing when I try em on metal.
With the right attachments I think it be good.

What's wrong with a 1mm thick cut off blade on a 4 inch grinder?

yeah so far i have tin snips, jig saw, drill, one ended hacksaw,
die grinder and power roofing shears but still have a hard time sometimes cutting metal.
the dremel has this multicutter that is a sideways drill, like a router and has a frame to hold it perpendicular on surfaces if needed. other than that some power/air nibblers may be the go. or some friggin huge holesaws.
im looking at a good finish like for body work etc

Do you want to cut shapes or just round holes?
You can get die punches that you drill a smaller hole through the panel, then insert a bolt through the punch and screws into a die on the other side. Works really well but only does round holes, unless you make your own.
You can get small grinding stones in small sets from the markets or bunnings that work reasonably well. The las set I had were used on stainless and lasted longer than I thought.
