wow you will travel that far ?!?!?
why not learn to do it yourself ? i know nothing about mikuni carbs, but im sure they arent any harder than a delorto or weber carb. hit the internet and find out why dont ya??, surely thats better than paying someone hard earned $$ to do the job and you are none the wiser about your car

Like they say in the movies; "If you want something done right, better do it yourself".

Get books on your carbies. Get air/fuel ratio gauge, (make sure it's a multiwire one). Get some type of vacuum gauge for setting synchronisation.

Many carbies (regardless of make) are internally out of tune and can _only_ be adjusted back right again by a complete disassembly. That does consist of realigning the butterflies and so forth, so I'm not on about taking jets out for inspection and screwing them back in again seconds later.

Many clever articles are in the net. Even instructions for (motorcycle people) making your own 4-pylon display manometer gauge for vacuum reading. (Naturally works for us car people as well.) Only 2-pylon gauge needed for cars, just check throttles within carb body to be okay and then connect either pylon to display their own carbie body. This will work great on Weber/Dellorto twins.

After two intensive months of self education, you're better tuner than below average dyno guy.

Whats he's asking if there's anyone to tune them! He didn't say he wants to learn!

I've had numerous mechanics look at my solex's, and i gotta say most of them were crap! Even with the right tools they couldn't do it properly. The best tune i've had was from Tony at D.G's mechanical repairs in ipswich. Currently my mechanic. He doesn't use too many gadgets, just his ear! Works great, although, if your after someone closer, try and find some mini mechanics, as they know a lot about our type of carbies.

I was going to go to Carb'n'ject, as i've been told they're pretty good, but they were gunna charge me +$700 to just dyno it, tune them and jet them. A bit too pricey for me. Look them up in the white pages.

Thanks
Ben

Hope that helps!
