Hey all, I might have secured a deal on a lightened chromoly flywheel for a 1JZ, but I want to know if its worth not only the $450 but the effort of removing the gearbox to change the sucker.
hence I am curious as to the weight of the stock 1JZ flywheel (R154)
if anyone could help me out here that would be great
cheers
matt
p.s. I searched and got nada

They weght about 12kgs or there abouts. Light weight flys generally go for bout that price. As to it being worth taking out your gearbox for is up to you.

Need Rex remind you fools that its not the weight of the flywheel, its where it is on the stinking thing.
Uh huh.
