Few new pics.. where?!
"Rekisteröidy" - register what, where? My finnish is a bit rusty
The link doesn't take me to any pics...
Edit: Hold on! There it is. Took me three attempts to get the gallery. Nice work, but did you really have to cut-out the bottom to make space for the steering? Why not go for rack&pinion from a AW11, AE82-86 or a Kadett C/Ascona B ?
Looks like TA12 has a bit longer tranny tunnel than KE20. Did you move the engine mounts far forward?
I have the sxe10 crossmember. Yes, it is too wide, but why not cut it in and use it for compatibility. And the fluid-filled rubber mounts. Btw, a friend told me to use JOFA hockey pucks and drill hole in them with straight-through 10mm bolts. He claims the engine is vibration-less enough. I partly agree with him.

I haven´t done any big changes to chassis/body, because it´s unwelded/rust free car, only 160000km driven. Gearstick hole is the biggest mod and there are about dozen 6-10mm holes. I might do rack and pinion sometimes in future thou. Engine mounts are little bit more forward than stock ones, but engine is still so far back than possible.

*bows respectfully*
gobsmacked. It's like teh coolest BEAMS conversion evah!
What style of headers do you have? They make a large difference to power delivery on this motor. eg. TRD 4-2-1 gives HEAPS more mid range.

If someone knows "tuning" parts to beams engine and knowledge of effects those offers. example trd cams, how much more power etc.. I would be very thankfull and happy. Or just links or something, it's just so "rare" engine.
Suprise thou, I want more power
ps. I won't charge it

problem with beams motor is that for an NA motor, they are already pretty well tuned. can't hope for much more torque out of it, and power band is already pretty high in the rpm...
i would not expect much more powr from it, and it would sacrafice the mid range too much..
unless you got new cams which had bigger dratio for both with and without VVTi so you sacrafice the very botom end, for a midrpm cam and an even higher rpm top end??? still, may not be much more in it (and you are still way ahead of any other NA 3SGE motor...)

oh, i stand corrected!
what rpm?
they make 210Nm from 2L stock at 6500rpm??
her they are claiming 198kw and 240Nm....
http://www.damseauxmotorsport.co.za/rally_car.htm
i know some ppl think 100ftlbs/L is the limit, but it still seems rather high??? maybe i'm just too oldschool

carina man if you wont to make more power you will need a new ecu ,change rod ratio with new forge pistons and new rods ,new cams still using vvti and also quad throttle set up ,plus new valve springs plus there are other parts as well my ra45 is making 165 kws at the back wheels at 8700rpm and a flat torque curve from 4000 rpm to 8800rpm the comp ratio is still 12to 1 to run on pump fuel ,if you wont to do any mods or you need any parts let me now as im building up a new 1 for 180kws at the back wheels

celica man, nice to know that someone knows something about 3sge beams. I'll have to be in touch with you. Those mods comes sometimes, near future I hope, but first I have to make it work properly and "finished" otherwise.
I have custom made exhaust manifold + pipe, toda flywheel + clutch package and custom made aircleaner setup, otherwise stock. How much horses your engine gave in stock mode? It supposed to have 210 JIS/SAE hp, but how many there are really? 130-140 engine kws mayby?
Well, when I get big brakes conversion ready, I'll go to dyno.
Any pics of your beams?

Now dynoed, won't give as much power/torque than toyota let us believe
Revlimiter cuts powercurve climbing in 7800 rpm, and that curve is going 45 degrees up in that time 9kw is missing, but it still gives some hope. Mayby apexi power fc would help . Little more fuel and raising that revlimiter would give little bit more power to top end and more torque to down and middle. Had to done 57mm restriction to inlet before airflow meter to get richer mixture.
