Was waiting in a carpark to pick my sis up from the doctors and got bored so i started fidling around with the lights and to my surprise got them to stay open half way
just have them open, then twist the stalk all the way down in the off position, as they come down twist it up a notch and boom, u got sleepy eye celica. Helps to park in front of a glass window so u can see where hte lights are as they come down

Nah mate. You know you like it. You know you want it.
I love that shot. We made everybody do it and we were all struggling a little to make 'em sit right. James (Mr Nipples) had to do it manually (winding the motor itself)

| Nah... SA63 and myself started to laugh at Viper for doing it manually so SA63 did it using the switch, also he did it for my MA61 as well...

This is one of the oldest tricks in the book, not to say its bad tho.. i use to do it in my ra65, but then it got run into.. bout a ra60 and couldnt do it.. so i put the ra65 head lights onto my ra60 (along with the 22re) and now i can shred it again.. such a drift look

Wezelton!
I've attempted to swap on the ra65/sa63 popup brackets to my ra60. Did you drill out the threaded holes on the chassis, or drill out the studs on the brackets?
Also my ra60 is recieving some 22re goodness soon with any luck
Cheers,
James

Hehe good work man, it will look good..
What i did was drill the holes out on the body, then got the grinder out, cut the threads off the head light frameing and smooth it off, then drilled a hole through where the old threads were and just pushed through some bolts.. easy does it.. took a lil bit of time but turned out sweet..
One light is a tiny bit crooked but i think my spare car had a previous accident before i bought it so i think the head light frame is a bit bent, might fix it this week..
I also swapped bonnets and grille, had to paint my bonnet black tho looks sweet as now.. I will post up pics later tonight i hope, just got to find the cam..
As for the 22re, when i did the swap, i swapped the entire car loom, its almost plug n play, just have to cut n paste some bits, for example.. The little door trim lights have different connectors from ra65 to ra60, i also found that on the passenger side rear loom, the ra65 one didnt connect upto anything, but it was a notch back so maybe the hatch and the notch back just ran the same loom.. my car is a hatch and use to have wiper dimister ect but i ripped it all out, think thats why i got a spare..
If you have any more questions, feel free to add me to your msn list oldmate4130@hotmail.com
Wes.

Im actually surprised at how hard the 22re goes, mines only got custom extractors, 2.5" exhaust and pod.. goes damn hard, spins most of second in a straight line.. If i could get a cam for it cheap enough i think i'd give it a go.. otherwise im savin up for my brutal conversion.. hehe

hahah
I thought this was common knowledge
My friend was showing me how to do it in his 180, and he had to get outta the car, pop the bonnet and twist the headlight knobs while i sat in my car and did it with the flick of the switch.
man im gonna miss my ma61
