hi a while ago someone put up a post/read somewhere what the letters on toyota engines mean ie:

3S-GE: E stands for EFI and G stands for something else

and i read somewhere that a Z or J means super charged, i just get confused when reading bout supra's and things and trying to get to know the differnt engines so i know what what they have

if anyone could help would be good

j does not mean sc, and it depends on where the z is
ie. 1jz is a series of engine,
4agze is a sc 4age engine (essentially)

j means jukebox.
z means xilaphone.
e means eliphant, not EFI. Laughing
