Ok, I know very little about manual gearboxes so take it easy. My mate has a w58 in his jzz30 soarer (1jz) and he snapped a uni he thinks and this has broken the gear shifter on his w58. He is looking for another shifter. He said it sits about 6" behind the box. I think this is how the mk4 w58's are but not sure. So if anyone knows anything or has one for sale, that would be very helpful.
Thanks
Chris

Ah! he is after a very late model W58 shifter, earlier model shifters won't fit!
I think you can get short shifters to suit the late model w58's off ebay, not sure how good they are, but might be worth a look
Cheers

I should have 2 new spare TRD replica short shift kits to suit the late model boxes with the remote shifter assembly in about 2 weeks. PM me if you're interested.
