W5X extension housing Sat, 13 August 2005 02:11 Go to next message
I need an extension housing, linkage and shifter locator for centre of 6 bolt adaptor to suit my W57. I presently have the rear most shifter position, extension housing and linkage arrangement and don't really want to cut the floor to make it suit my car. Can anyone help with this? Will consider all options if necessary
Cheers
Mark

Have a search for this, and there is a picture that shows the 4 shifter positions that W5X alloy geraboxes come with (to me it sounds like you are after a MA61 shifter position).

You don't need the extension housing, just the shift linkage and upper alloy component that bolts to the rear extension housing. Your terminology is a bit off...

OK, I need the linkage and top housing only, wasn't sure if the extension housing was the same. I looked at the pic, I need the MA61 or the one next to it (MA70, or is the jury still out?)This is the link

Any/all help appreciated, I so need to stick to fixing Big Yella Dump Trucks, I swear it's easier than making this engun fit my AE86.
