Has anyone done this conversion?Do you people have an idea of what other 4cyl Toyota motor will fit good other than a 22R?I also can supercharge my spare 7M out of my Cressida and do that.The Hilux has a pissy 2Y 4-speed manual.

I dare say the old 4A wouldn't have enough tourque to pull you lux.
Super charging a 7M isn't exactley cheap, maybe look at atleast a 1GGTE or 1J or something or 1UZ
