install it after the AFM-if u take away the AFm your car wont work basically
Its also a good idea to box it up and get a CAI happening.Best thing would be to run batteryu to boot, make big airbox with cold air feed from box to front bar somewhere. EAsier still, get K&N panel filter

as said above, unless you're using an aftermarket ECU that doesnt need AFM, you HAVE TO HAVE an AFM. and yes the pod filter goes before AFM
I thought we had a massive discussion on this before!! not again...buy some tubing from Mitre 10 (they're like $3.50/m) and stick it in front of youre car leading to the pod.....if the cops pull you over for it.....yank it off there and then....simple!
I have had this on my car for more than a year now and never had a problem with it!...be warned....this will become the lowest part of the car and have a few metres of the stuff spare at home as it will need replacing everynow and then works wonders tho

or, do what i did. Run pipe off the AFM to ur front bumper and fit ur air filter to the end of the pipe. Ideally, you want it low but hidden, and if at all possible behind a vent or grille, or just have it slightly protruding from the bottom of your car. Be warned, if its poking out the bottom of ur car, u must be very careful going over bumps (mine is this way and im yet to have any problems).
