mate I sell 5k engines for forklifts at work, heads are the hardest thing to find. I could probley sell you a new factory bottom end, I think I also have some complete motors coming but I don't have any pricing yet.
If you are interested let me know and I'll do some more homework

twin 40 doce webbers on redline k series manifold with linkages sounds about right for what you need ?
btw they came off my hot 5k hi 14s low 154s in a ke20 with about 100 kg extra weight

Ive got a 5K head in the shed - it was good condition to what i can remember, came off the running motor 2 months back now.
Im in brisbane, and i can send it to you, if you like.
Hows $50 + postage sound ?
I can also hook you up with basically trade price parts from repco, if you need! ~ all gaskets, bearings - anything  !

5k head wont be needed as goin to use ported 4k head and flat top pistons.... any one got a 4k head?? lol

got 4k head from local wreckers... all other gear still needed.. twin webbers, cam etc etc.
