they can't give up on the interceptor can they?? that's "the last of the V8's!!"

I don't think that is as RA25, weren't they lift backs like the 28?

re mad max - it BETTER be a ford ... the Interceptor made him - and we all know that was one big old blue oval badged monsta XB GT coupe

On the racing celica - its definantly a ra23 .. with flares .... and other fiberglassy goodness

it could be a TA22 or a RA21 its not a 23 cause of no indicators in the bumper also the bonnet is the jap 1 also the gap is the same as a 22 from the door to the guard ,distance to the wheel ,as the 23 is 100 mm longer .i should no i owned 2 1 green GT 1600 2tg and 1 GTV with 18rg and it was a RA21 coupe ,the TA 27 and RA25 were liftbacks

Nup, the parkers and bumper are definitely RA23 style, not TA22 style. The fact that it has no indicators in the bumper is hardly relevant since this is clearly a full-race car and the bumper is probably fibreglass anyway.

Check out this pic of a white TA22 and orange RA23 side by side, and note the shape of the indicators/parkers as they blend into the guard. They're both quite different and it's obvious the pic above is the same as the RA23.

Pfft, it's pretty much impossible to tell with those huge wheelarch flares on the race car. Unless you have actual measurements of the wheelarch to door gap, I maintain it's an RA23!

Nah man, I'm going to leave it be for now... it's just getting me around while I finish the Supra. Once that's done I'll bolt the turbo on the Celica and head for the drags again... should be pretty interesting!

Still keen to one day see if that brake modification you made with the ma61 struts would work for a ta22 ( with a shorteded strut i guess it would )
