there are only 2 sizes, 40mm and 42mm. the early 4age's had the 40mm which changed to the larger 42mm in late 87 (4age and 4agze).
the ACL part number should be 4B1780.?? for 42mm and 4B1710.?? for the 40mm. (?? = std, or oversize)

I think he's talking about the 3 different clearance types of bearings for the conrods. If you go with the ACL bearings, the one size fits all 3 clearance types.
FWIW, the main bearings actually have 5 different types of bearings. Get yourself a 4age rebuild manual... you'll need it.
