As I am moving to Adelaide soon to buy a house, I am regretfully selling my AW11. This car has has a full smallport 4A-GE engine conversion, giving it a power to weight ratio close to that of a supercharged AW11.
1984 AW11 Toyota MR2
5 speed manual
Rare sherwood green/silver
Paint in great condition bar a few minor blemishes, interior is immaculate (Original yellow/blue seats with "Twincam 16" logos, original carpet in great condition)
Only 158,000km
Registered 'till December
Koni fully adjustable rear suspension.
Near-oem aftermarket front suspension (helps reduce snap oversteer)
Stock alloy wheels with 195/60/14 Yokohama A539s.
Reconditioned steering rack (Every other AW11 I've seen had a clunky, worn rack)
Polyurethane shift bushes and rear engine mount.
Syntrax synthetic gearbox oil, teflon treated.
K&N pod filter with very short induction path.
Exhaust manifold from an '88 supercharged AW11 (More durable, and flows better according to TRD)
CD player, 10" DEI subwoofer, 6" splits and 4 X 50W RMS Kicker amp (more than enough for such a small cabin!)
As mentioned above, the engine has been replaced with a low kilometers (<80,000) 100kW smallport 4A-GE from a 1991 Corolla SX. Please note this is a FULL conversion, including the ECU, loom and all sensors from the newer engine (including knock sensing!). A lot of smallport conversions use the ECU, loom and sensors from the old engine, giving results little better than the original 86kW engine.
For those who prefer the look of aftermarket mags, I can also include a set of Lenzo 17" rims with >80% Nexen/Falken rubber for $700 extra.
I would urge anyone who is interested and located near the Gold Coast to come and have a ride/drive - this is not your average worn out AW11.
Asking $6500 ONO
