 MX83 Cressida Cruise Control

i was on the highway this morning, and i had cruise on and then it just turned off, and the green cruise light flashed five times. and i couldn't turn it back on. so i pulled over turned the engine off and back on again, and cruise worked all the way home.
any info would be great

Mine did that for the first time on Thursday.... worked fine since.
Loose connection I put it down to.

i did i computer diagnostics, and it said everything is normal, i i took the dash apart and removed the cruise control computer and gave the connections a clean, works great now
