not true.
i live in Adelaide, and don't want to fly to sydney just to look at what could be a shitbox.
but, if pictures were posted, i might be interested in flying over to buy it.
and i'm no timewaster.
i flew to brisbane to buy an 86 2 years ago
then drove it home.

i flew to melbourne from sydney twice to find a real sprinter
for $4K+, you'd at least want some pics to make your $3-500 plane fare worth the effort...

bubbles wrote on Wed, 20 April 2005 13:50 | Im very close to buying a mig welder.
Im going to drill 1 or 2 small hole's in between each spot weld and fill it with mig all around the car for more stiffness.
Is this illegal? Will i need an engineers report?

Actually, I left the spot welds alone. Plug welding is drilling the firts panel and migwelding until the hole is full and theres the same amount of penetration on the other side of the panel.

Sorry steve but the reason why I didnt post pics is because im not selling this outside sydney, also people that have the money would want to see this in person anyway.
Anyway the new owner is very happy with the purchase, but for me it was the worse day of my life

except for out-of-staters who might be willing to fly over. and you know if they do fly over then they're almost certainly gonna buy.
