U may have a problem with it. Torsen LSD's are really smooth when their LSD function works. When u turn into a corner and flaten it, initially it should feel like its goin to light up 1 wheel, but u just keep ur boot into it, and she cuts lose real smooth and easy. Awsome to control. It sounds like u got a Detroit Locker or something!

Sounds like the boy likes his toy.
Torsens should be smooth in their operation. How are you finding the 4.556 gears on the hidhway?

the oil is a part of the prob...i know this already and ive ordered some trd stuff for it...
the other prob it the boosted up 1J with a driver behind it thats not shy i actually worked out that the diff is doing the corect thing (i'd hate to sound like a "its raining lets take mums excel out to do burn outs" type of guy but...) i done some low speed testing in some bendy rarly used roads "somewhere :)" then found a nice, flat car park that was wet and empty and outtasite and let the car go round in circles on idle slowly giving more thottle then as comming around and boost slowly comming up to 0 ....plantted it!!! and she cut in smooth but strong!!!
so whats the bang! feeling????
i think its cause both wheels lock in when the J is openning up and with it having 4.6's it adds to the feel.... man it feels like its about to bend the boot of the car to the side!!!!! it does make the jolt hard but i think its cause its happening all very fast
ohh the highway question??? you lose 18% from the cressi's 3.9s speed when the speedo is at 100 at about 2500 rpm your at 86 feels freakin fantastic when you boot it though and if you do the conversion dont fix the speedo cause the auto wont shift properly
again though absolutly supurb diff it just reacts so well and i must say it saved my arse tonight very happy
did i mention launches i put sti's in my pocket

Umm....why did you order TRD oil?? A Torsen LSD uses any normal gear oil, u dont need specific LSD oil for them. And buying LSD oil makes no difference to their performance anyway. I think someone is telling u some bullshit here.....and in a Torsen dif, the wheels do not "lock up"....

Yeah it works on a ratio between the wheels, not too sure what ratio is for the supras.

hey traction issuses so normal gear oil is cool??? i was thinking along those lines cause there is no clutches or slipping i just read on the trd site that they need it or a better type of oil http://www.toyota-trd.com/en/strt/d_lsd.html i just thought that since toyota oil is the best for the auto that the trd oil would be best for their lsd??? i was also tolled that AMSOIL is one helofva oil to use??? i dont know??? i didnt know what a torsen diff was till i saw the guts of this thing??? o when i say "lock up" i mean both wheels spin at the same time when going in a straight line, i read a little about the torsen and understand that they dont "lock up" they just split the tourque 50 50...
again very cool diff
