I've got the slotted discs and I use the Bendix Metal Kings... They stop very well and don't overheat...

I think I got mine for $150 each... Not too sure on the pads though... I think they might've been $65...
Brett, if you want some, come down for the DBA Factory Tour... I believe that discounts will be available at the end of the day...

If u getting Bendix Metal Kings
the code is DM308
price is ~$55 a pair.
Ultimates are over $100 i think.
Why not try race brakes pty ltd. in neuton rd, wetherill park?
they make special compound brake pads to suit.
cost a bit more but are better.
~$150 a pair.

$350 is like retail for them... Us Toymodders get discounts...
I got mine from the lads at Pittwater Brake And Clutch...
I think that the ultimates have metal and other crap mixed through the pad whereas metal kings are solid metal...

not sure about ultimates ,but the metal kings do have a pretty high brass content but the are definatley not solid metal.
Thier stopping power is good enough for street and the odd track event, i havent been able to fade them at all
Only drawbacks are that they take a good halfdozen stops before the buggers to do anything, and of course they dust up shiny mags quickly

depends on the application.
It your a taxi driver or courier, metal kings are apparently the go coz they'll warm up quick. If your in traffic and do the odd track day, Ultimates are the most suitable, If you drive normally without too much stopping, Premiums or some other good quality 400 degree pads will do the job, If you drive slow, Standards will do fine and are more kind to your rotors.
I don't know anything about these DBA rotors though. Hopefully you got some recommendation guide of what pads to use when you bought them, right?

Go to an auto store and have a look at the Bendix Part book. It'll tell u which pad is most suitable depending on your style of driving. I mean if you live in the country, forget Metal kings, and if you wanna do laps at Wakefield, I'd give Standards a miss.
