This conversion was originally documented by Larry O'Toole (?), in the Australian Street Rodding magazine. Call them on 02 5472 3653, and ask for a copy of the relevent mag, or the article itself. The title of the article was: Street Sleeper Celica Swap, and was on pages 54-55. Unfortunately I don't have the issue number, if you find it please let me know?! I have a copy of the article if you draw a blank and still need the info. Clint

IF you converted the front to use an RA40 Celica strut, then you could just put the commodore disk on to that as they share the same wheel bearing sizes. You would still have to make a bracket for the calliper though.

i do believe the 86 camry booster and cylinder is a perfect or almost perfect fit. this also changes the brakes to a front/back split system so the union will have to be modified in. i would preffer to put a commodore complete brake system, prob vn cause its more common, as i want to get commodore rear axle also.
