K-Mac Strut Tops, Bent!

G'day all,
Alot of people say that the K-Mac strut tops bend quite easily and just to show you all that they do i thought i would post some pictures up of my bent K-Mac strut top. I bought my supra with the strut top like this and only just got around to fixing it.
That anodised plate is supposed to be flat, not bent on a 20 degree angle!
As you can see from the pictures they can deform quite alot! I think this may have happened due to racing in Targa. Sorry bout the poor quality of some of the pics
As i said before i did get around to fixing this. All you need is a solid flat surface, 1 big hammer and a few other random tools Then after a few minutes whacking the strut top back into shape you have the following result!
This is only a temp fix to get a proper wheel allignment done as my car pulls to the right, not ideal. When i get sufficent funds i will be getting some noltec ones hopefully!

This is why I bought some T3 ones instead. Not installed yet, but I'm impressed with them. A lot cheaper than Kmac ones, too.

Do you have lowered springs,if so how low and are the shocks short stroke and matched to suit. These are the reasons i have been given for these bending as when you bottom out the bump stop hits rather ferociuosly on them.K-Mac only has this problem on cars that have been lowered too much.

I do not know what springs i have in the front but i'm pretty sure they are not lowered. I do know that i have King std's in the rear though, so i reckon the fronts would be similair. I think as i said before, they bent due to the car being raced in Targa Tasmania. If this helps, heres a pic of my struts.
