A career Mon, 22 August 2005 06:58 Go to next message
Hey all,
At the moment im in the process of choosing my subjects for yr 12 and im not sure what i want to do as its a throw up between a doing a paint and panel course or continuing the Automotive im doing now and become a mechanic.

I was wondering what would be better in the long run. i am keen to do any of them but im not sure which would pay better and what would be easier to get a job in.

Thanks, adam

Adam. I don't know about a lot of guys out there but I would pick the one that you enjoy most.
Over the years I've not put money as the prime objective when working. I chose driving trucks because I enjoyed driving, not for the money I could make doing it. You are going to spend a lot of time doing the courses of either, then hopefully spend a lot of time in your chosen field. Either of the fields that you are talking about you should get employment easy enough, so think about it and choose the one you enjoy most.
Just my personal opinion.
