An airflow meter and a MAP sensor are two different things that are used to achieve the same thing in a different way.
AFM cars measure the amount of air being ingested by the engine in order to calculate the fuel to inject. MAP sensed cars measure the manifold pressure and the air temp and use this to calculate the amount of air being used in order to determine fuel needs.
The AFM doesn't have a MAP sensor in it, at least no AFM I know of does. In the Gen 2 #sGTE's however they did run a map sensor to run the boost guage and operate the boost cut. This is mounted close to the intake manifold on the drivers side, at least it is in a Gen 2 SW20.
I don't know if the Gen 1 has a Map sendor or not, but based on the way Toyota generally do things I'd expect there to be one there somewhere.
Sorry I'm not much use to you, get your hands on a wiring diagram for the generation of engine you're using and it shouldn't be too difficult.
