Dont know where to put this, but tech is good enough i think.

Just making a post letting the sprinter guys know if you get into trouble finding a AE86 Parker/Indicator, it is possible to use AE82 parkers to get you by, they dont fit well but they do fit, the wiring is the same so it plugs in and you will need just 2 cable ties to fasten securely the screws dont fit at all.

Someone told me about these afew weeks back so i tried it, i need just one parker to get me by for 2,3,4weeks+ however long it takes to get my new kouki parkers which ive ordered. Looks better than a big hole and dont get hassled by cops at a glance for a dodgy looking ride.

That was me who suggested this,
glad u tested the fact.. Wink
The one Im using fits fine.... although I think when the previous owner installed it he chopped some metal from behind so it sits properly, or the damage that brought on the relpacement made it fit?
either way good to see this utilised, not as good as original but does the job ahy... Smile

strange how urs has a big gap... the one in mine fills the space like an original sprinter parker..? Confused

DRFT-86, mabey the wrecker you bought yours from incorrectly labeled your as an 82 light when it is an 86/85 item, cos the 82 light is definitely much shorter than the sprinter ones, as seen in the above pic.

yeh possibly, although I didnt do this mod, my mate did when he owned the car, after hitting a kangaroo.
and I remember he was having trouble finding sprinter parts so he just put rolla lights in... because the headlight is a rolla item, and the parker has a lip on the bottom that hooks under the bumber, unlike sprinter ones.... although it was mostly hacked off to fit...

who knows...?
