Are they legal to be used on the roads? I thought and I highly doubt they'd be legal.

theyre legal in WA but not in every other state, so due to the illegality i'd say this thread has a limited timer on its life before a mod moves it to deleted threads..
btw these are good devices. my workmate has one which ive used on and off, but the big problem with them is theyre made for left hand drive so you have to mount the things upside down to be able to see them properly in a RHD car..

I dont think any of us with modded cars can say they are!
So whats the diff

the difference is that its a 9 point offence and something like a $2000 fine. Alot different to getting pulled over for having a pod filter dont u think

Hey yeah these would be great....
...if the police still used radar, but seeing as they use LYDAR (laser), these are worthless. HAHA

LYDAR? Hrm, I've had cops use the LIAR... Just make up the speed I was doing and try and charge me with that instead.

hypothetically if i ahd one, mine would detect laser also and hypothetically the laser would have saved me 10x more than the radar part of it.
