Umm, no it can't
Hence me saying that.
Microtech stopped supporting the M series either late last year, or earlier this year.
So unless you know someone that works there, what its programed for now, is locked.

i am awaiting a response from Microtech technical support to confirm or deny your claim that the MTX-8 is reconfigurable.
AFAIK, it is NOT reconfigurable, but i will give you the benefit of the doubt until i have it confirmed.
If the MTX-8 is no longer supported, then i request that you list the engine this one is configured for and all other relevant details, else you sale will be deleted.
Regards,

Just a quick question- why is there no loom?
when changing ecu's the loom normaly goes too, cause thats how you buy them.

Well i have a confirmed email from Microtech saying that ALL M-series ECUs are no longer reconfigurable.
In which case, either list what engine this is for or the sale is deleted.

Microtech used to upgrade MTX-8's to LTX-8's for around $200... its a firmware change and a 232 chip.
They are most likely "not supporting" M series to force you to upgrade.
If you are ringing them up you may as well check out the serial number... no offence but i would be wary of any aftermarket ECU being sold with no loom at all... all microtechs have a serial number that is displayed when you first turn it on with the handset plugged in.
