Use a .gif with a transparancy for the intro page. The background colour isn't matching, and using a .gif with transparancy for something like that is the easiest way to get it to work.

Or - and here's the better idea - don't use an intro page. They're just annoying (although pretty).

Make sure your links are sorted out in a way that leaves your site easy to navigate. Make sure your content is layed out in such a way that people other than you can understand it.

Remember some people will be on 1024 x 769 (like I am... for some reason) or lower, so it's a good idea to put your links all on the top left and ordered nicely so that people don't have to search your site for the links.

Good luck.

P.S. Your site needs more boobs. Boobs is what the internet is all about. Laughing

Well firstly you should write down what you want the website to represent and what features, information and technology you want to use.

then figure out how you want to design the layout of the website with pictures etc. Very Happy

The way i did this was to get a A4 page of paper and draw what you want

have you used css with another websites before?

makes text much more viewable and makes the layout of the website better.

are you using just html, or php, asp dhtml?

The only time I ever like them is when I'm going to a site to see how pretty it is. Which is never (these days anyway).

I have one on my site, but this is due to the damned web master not letting you use an index.php page as the index page *shakes fist*
