adjusting cam timing, what does what

what i'm basically after is, in what way does the power band get altered if u move the cam timing round
i have an 18RG, and i wanna know what moving each cam clockwise or anti clockwise can do for it

PS, when mentioning it, please state "clockwise", as if u were standing at the front of the car

anti clock wise will advane it, you can he the revs increase

I think you're talking about ignition timing.
