Clutch pedal coming out too far (AE86)

Has anyone encountered this problem? The clutch is engaging when the pedal is getting past the brake pedal and comes out another inch past the brake pedal. Anyway to adjust the pedal?

have a look down there at what stops the pedal from coming further out.. the.. pedal stop  .. just screw it out further and TIGHTEN the locknut

yeh, my clutch pedal sits roughly an inch higher, well not quite, but its higher than the brake pedal... its just freeplay though... dosnt engage like u describe........
Ive had a few attempts at adjusting it, but fuck... its a c@%T to do.......so Ive given up, for now... when I can really be bothered I will try again.....

isn't it just a bolt you screw out, that is at the front, near the top of the pedal?

The adjusting nut on the MC pushrod might help a little, too.

Yeh, its a bolt with 2 nuts on it... but its in a really dificult spot.. u have to lie on ur back under the dash and fuck about.... it sux the goats hairy testicals... and its hard to move the tools about....

FWIW last time i mucked around with the clutch pedal i found it easier to remove the drivers seat(4 bolts)then get on ya back.
Thought it may help a little

lol i've been driving like this for about the whole year now
i can literally push my clutch pedal about 1/2 an inch, disengage clutch, shift in gear, and engage again
