hey toymods members,
i am after some information. i need to know what type of ecu would best suit my situation. i have a 1975 toyota corolla ke35 and i am putting a 5k fuel injected engine into it but the engine doesnt come with an ecu. i would also like to know if anyone has a second hand one that they would sell or know where i could get one from.
thanks Browns.

id be looking for a std one, or looking into megasquirt , very cheap and the addons and features that it comes with outdo alot of the 900-1100 ecu's on the market.. depending on your budget of course but if your not going to modify the arse out of it no need to go spending 2k on an ecu and fiting it and tuning it.

i was running my 4K with 7KE injection gear, on a megasquirt, ans it was very good... motor was fairly modded, cams were 275/285, 435thou lift, so idle vacuum was not crash hot, but it idled much better than with carby, and was smooth everywhere..

i can even send you a startup map that you would be pretty close Razz

plus MS is much cheaper and simpler to set up than other ECU's

for sensors, use camira water temp and air temp sensors.... and heated O2 for closed loop on cruise is best...

which manifold are you using? 4KE or 7KE??
