today i sent 7a block to the machine shop to be matched to the new aries pistons i hope to have it back either wednesday or thursday.I did not choose the 7a bottom end just to have more power i would like to have a bit more torque down low and that is the reason i am using a small turbo in the way of a gt25 i really want it to spool up quickly. i decided to use the small port head for the turbo application but it has had money and time poured into it and the ports arnt really what you would call small any more
i really only want about 200bhp from this engine for road use and i know i could have got this pretty easy from a n/a engine but i never had a turboed corolla yet so this is a first for me and with the 13" wheels it should slide about with ease

ok well somethings have happened...
short motor sent to graham wilkins motorsport to have crank knife edged and bottom end lightened and balanced
had to get a custom flywheel made up as it is a 6 bolt
bought 1 of them new microtech 10 thingys
suspension is in and is rock hard "good old rally car"
quick rack is in and feels good
interior is finished
just got safety devices roll cage from demon tweeks in the uk to be fitted
levin grill new from ireland and jap headlights bling bling
new sparco 2 spoke wheel
got bracket for spotlights 4 7 inch cibies 2 up 2 down
get the wireless going for some tunes
must stick 12 months rego on it tomorrow
