they work quiet well there only so cheap because the newer model is out
i dont know about the hp reading but the 1/4 mile times are accurate scared me a bit wen it was .2 of a second out to the willowbank 1/4 mile time that my m8 ran
he ran gtech in his car wile at willowbank and it was .2 out ... not bad for a bit of shit that sits on ur windscreen

they only work as well as they are mounted, and if the road is dead flat... they are a single acceleromter.. the more exxy ones have 2.
if you mount it well, and it doesn't move, it can be a tuning aid.. but it's more of a... useful toy..

do these need to be set up for a particular
car or what?
because on ebay it states specific models
of vehicles with different units.

yeah i just got one of these. only had one run last night. ..
i did a 6.4 0-100 but then it was 14.9 1/4.
thats in my stock as a rock jzz30
should be quicker then that. i looked at an article (latest HPI mag) on my car and it said 6.7 0-100 and an 14.3 1/4
now i know my car will never do ecactly what HPI test it at. but just thought it was really weird.
