on a KE, 10mm = 1deg.
with my home made KE10 tops, i moved 20mm castor and camber = 2 deg of each.
for 1.5 pos, and you want 1neg at least, thats at least 25mm movement... you may be able to get that.. but maybe not with castor also.. depending on design..

oh, and check the spring clearance to the body.... thats the limit you can go before smaller springs.
maybe longer lower control arms...

yep ok.
1st'' the springs are not a problem if any thing they may go back up 10mm - 15mm to level the car out again. The boys at the Springworks will set that right after i solve the camber problem. im down an inch all round and they say that going lower will not fix anything. ie stroke of the strut too short & spring losing travel and the rears bump stop would be too close if i dump it all round + cost!
2nd'' LCA(arms) ive got a set of MX73 arms (these are only 10mm longer though) getting RA65 balljoints pressed in tomorrow to see the difference but i will need to get it measured again , but before i do will need castor rods too..
<<What other LCA would Fit "anyone done this before with RA65's?">>
---
tried MX 61&62 but Track is out, wheel sits 20mm - 25mm lower then my standard setup, tyres directy under guards (which are rolled) with enough room to put your hand between the gap + camber is at big Neg, too big for a daily driver, It looked fat though!
3rd'' Struts, the struts are getting shortened revalved and Firmed up to suit. , I can have them bent (as much as 3deg depending on -ride hight -size of wheels and tyres -alowance for tyre shake.) They asked me yesterday "would u be happy with 1/2 deg + camber(answer->NO)" <-- from this i estermate they can get 1 deg's doing this..
4th'' the guy doing my Struts mentioned "Noltec" an would prefer that i used these instead of Kmac.. any idea on Price? for Noltec? Maybe a place to get them from on the northern side of Melbourne.
Thanx for the info so far..
PS. anyone got Noltec in a KE55? what mod's if any i'll need to do?

ahhhh:blush: LCA still shitting me balljoints are not the same in the RA65 as they are a couple of mm smaller then MX73 ones. Looks can be decieving.. the LCA lengh is not as much as i'de hoped for prob 8mm..
probably dumb Question T3 .. is this the brand yes? what do they look like what are the specs? searched keep finding crap..
LCA have read that early Sigma fit and are 30mm longer.. but i dont want some thing doge coz ill be needing a engeneering cirtificate, could hold off till eng conversion, but 2nd reasons Insurance.. What to do?
.. heard something about custom Bushes to fit where would these be made?
thanx boys

Non-toys you mean? Quite possibly, as long as he has the bolt pattern measurements. I know he makes them for old nissan/datsuns and toyotas, and says if they don't have the model listed to give them bolt pattern measurements... so I don't see why not. Try emailing him.

Small Toyotas around that age all share the same lower ball joint ~ 045. This includes Corolla, Corona, Celica, Carina, etc.
Large Toyotas around that age all share the same lower ball joint (some other one). This includes Cressida, Crown, MKII etc.
The large one and small one aren't interchangable.
The Sigma inner lower bush is different to the Toyota part, so modification is req'd to fit to the crossmember. If you use a Toyota arm with the same bush p/n the arm will fit with no modifications to the crossmember or bush.
Spend some time at Repco with their catalogues and you'll quickly draft up a short-list of things to try.
