I bought my blue ones from the local toyota dealer for about $20 each. i think they had to order them in for me though. So try that first, if they dont have them i recommend this guy:
http://toyheadauto.com/Celica_Parts_1971_to_1977.h tml
very fast delivery, but a bit more dosh.

chris

no no worries dude, i'm simply looking to se if it's worth the effort (not monetary Razz ) to bring them back... i'm not going to hassle my colleagues if they are easily available Wink

if toyota can still order em in at that price, thats cheaper than they are asked for here....

edit, anyone wanna ring up toyota and confirm this is still the case?

I am very keen to get hold of the green dragon badges, send me a definite price including delivery to South Aus and I will see what I can do, infact if you can get the GT badge in Green then I'll have that too, I would probably grab the red one however so price me up on that too, any of the old style celica badges for the rear qtr panel ?

Cheers
Glenn

Umm... Find out about GT Grills for XA2X (both TA22 and RA23/28 styles), as they will sell like hotcakes on a winter sunday. I know ill buy one, also any other GT badging required, and the cursive celica side badges.

Cheers, Owen

hey
have you seen any of these around? it looks orange now, but i'm fairly sure it was red to start with. mine is in shithouse condition.
http://users.tpg.com.au/ceedees/frontbadge.jpg
also, what does the GT badge look like that goes on the back flip down plate covering the fuel filler? the ST one isnt exactly a work of art and if i leave it off there will be 2 ugly holes.

thanks

very hard to get things in Aus are usually also hard to get here, or remarkably expensive.

i will look out for the GT grills

edit: but i would be surprised if anyone in australia was willing to pay $4-500+ for a good condition grill.

NOTE!!!!

when looking at items on Yahoo japan, typically DOUBLE the auction price to have it on your doorstep or in the country.

Importbitz isnt really a yahoo japan buying service per se - but you are best off to ask him. Containers arent really the best place for items like grilles etc.
