xA6x vs xX7x and xz1x rear subframes	Tue, 30 August 2005 05:20

i was wondering if anyone has got ne measurements to give a comparison of widths between these 3 rear subframes. ne one done the math? [Report message to a moderator]

Alas I do not have measurements, but I can offer some information. -MA61 and MZ1X are the same to my knowledge. -MA61 and MX73 are different: The mounts for the trailing arms are located further outwards (towards the outside) of the car at a guess about 30mm? I have seen a Mx73 rear subframe bolted into a MA61 but some bashing/bending of metal due to the further outward mounting of the arms was required. I would be interested in measurements as well, and the effect on geometry due to the differences. Cheers Wilbo [Report message to a moderator]

I know the upper diff crossmember is not compatible between the X7 and A6/Z1, but haven't measured the subframe... yet... [Report message to a moderator]

IRS Corona (xT14x) is another option, what my rear disc swingarms are from. Assuming same arms. [Report message to a moderator]
