Gold Coast - cars wanted for club display at Hinterland Toyota - Sept 10

Hinterland Toyota are having an open day Saturday September 10 and have invited the Toyota Car Club (Qld) to put some cars on display.
They've got room for 20 cars - and the dealer is keen to see older models represented. The car doesn't have to be concourse condition and modified is just as welcome as factory original.
You don't have to be a club member to put your car on display - and it would be a great opportunity for toyo enthusiasts to meet up on the coast somewhere other than the BWCP.
So if you're on the coast and are looking for a great reason to meet fellow TOyota nerds - this might be ideal 
The day starts at 9am and rolls up at about 2pm.
There'll be a bbq and soft drinks on for folks showing off their cars.
The local FM station (90.9 SEA FM) will be there with wanky DJ chatter.
If you've got a Toyota (young or old, common or rare) that you'd like to show - please contact the club president (Amanda - 0423 859 288 or <noddymullet@yahoo.com.au> so she can advise the dealer of the number of cars going on display.

excuse my ignorance but this is a car yard? is anything else going on or will i have to sit by my car for 5 hours?

yes - but the yard is letting the public thru to look at their workshops and stuff.
You could leave your car are walk around the yard, have a look at the workshop, talk car shit with fellow enthusiasts, look at other modified cars, drool over restored cars, etc... and you could leave earlier if you wanted.
is up to you if you leave early - but if you'd like to show off your car to the public, and take in the sights of the goldcoast, then this might be an opportunity.
Ring up Amanda as she's organising the club side of the event. (i can't be there, i'll be in Gympie at a QRC event)

yeah i think i may miss it as my weekends are pretty busy and i will be up with you guys on the 11th at gympie. although it would have been nice to visit there. sorry
