Hello
The other day i had to disconnect my negative battery terminal to access a bolt. I have reconnected but the problem is my stereo has now died. It worked for 20 minutes after reconnecting the battery neg terminal but now has died completely
I have checked all fuses and all apear to be fine.
Can anybody help me sort this out cause i need music!!!
As yet, i have not tested stereo connections with a multimeter, i thought some of the stereo guru's might know what I have done

What sort of Stereo. Does it need a Security Code.
Factory Lancer Decks (Clarion), for example, will operate for a few minuits and then shut down without a code.

Hi,
I'm no stereo guru as such, although i've installed a fair few for friends and myself. I am, however, an electrician therefore have fault finding knowledge.
In my experience first check all fuses, then supply, then ALL connections. Most commonly it's just a loose connection, in the most awkward spot of course, that's the culprit. If all else fails, get a $15 multi meter from dicksmiths.
Hope this helps and hope u get it goin!
Cheers, Pomey!
