Top Doorslammer is a bit quicker than that now. Bump spot is usually in the 6.2X's with a couple of guys in the 6.0X's. MPH record is around 244 IIRC.
Still obviously it is a bloody good effort. This car runs the 3.4L stroker kit doesn't it? They are in competition with the AEM civic powered by an NSW engine that also runs around 6.4X.

With a trap speed of 218mph on a 6.44sec pass and assuming the car weighs 800kg (purely a guess) it works out to an AVERAGE power at the wheels of close to 600kW down the entire pass.
Now that's pretty impressive, both the power figure and the ability to get it down.

Man, that 2JZ sounds sooo sweet. I want a 2JZ-GTE.
It'd probably lack some power off the line, having to spool up teh massif turbos. Which is probably why it hooks up so nicely. That and those feck off massive tyres! Look at those things!

i think it would have plenty off the line cause its an auto and no doubt has a trans brake so can come onto boost before take off.
