to get a drift event off the ground you need to be cams affiliated........all in time
there need to be more old abandonded airstrips here in perth like England
where we can practice without having to fork out big dough to run for 1 hour

agreed - somewhere to practise where all it costs is some spare tyres and some spare time would be ideal!
if anyone can suggest some places (other than Welshpool) holla!

I believe so too.
mate said it costs around $40 for a day of fun.
maybe this is something to look into further, as I think you can book the place out for a day type thing for club activities.

i think you have to have a cam licence to do MC stuff.....
i have been out at their new place at the airport and it's pretty cool, if people are serious about it then we can form a team and compete ??
I will try and find some stuff about it

Hope to make it to the next drift meet.. and by the sounds of things, there will be a mix of Soarer's, Supra's and Sprinter's to add to the competitors!

Also the Collie open days has drift, burnouts, drags, and grip all on the same day and it usually costs only 15-25 bucks to enter. But then all you guys have to drive down from perth...

This thread has stopped being only about the Wanneroo Drift night & is now about drifting in general.
This is not what this section of the forum is for.
There is a General Car Talk section.
Keep the replies on topic or this thread will be locked.
