1. Wiring Diagram for GZ20 for dash, and underbonnet
2. Wiring Diagram for 1JZGTE motor and computer
3. Since it will be a auto (dont laugh) will my origional tail shaft fit as there seems to be a bit of conflict,
4. Engine Mounts do i just modify or what would be the easiest i have rang around quite a few importers trying to source a jza70 and none of them seem to have one , i can get the next model soarer jzz30 but the sump is in the wrong place (Centre)

go into the soarer owners thread, theres some info in there, and a couple of guys who have done the conversion, however i think they were smart enough to run a manual g/b sorry couldn't resist. But im sure the soarer guys will be able and willing to help you.

Yeah i thought i would get a few responses like thats i just feel like being a bit lazy thats all plus the auto boxes are stronger then the manuals and are easier and cheaper to sorce, plus the budget didnt really include a manual and new clutch etc

1st gear thrust washer aside, I'd have to disagree with you about the autos being stronger stock.
That said, a JZA70 cut will be an almost straight swap for your car.

he didnt use a JZA70 halfcut though... which is the easiest way.
best bet is to PM earthweb, who just completed a 1JZ-GTE AUTO conversion on his GZ20 with a JZA70 halfcut.
he will be able to tell you everything you need to know if he's willing!
I'll be hitting him up for info soon too.
Cheers
James
PS: what were the symptoms before the 1GGTE let go?
