Anyone correct me if I'm wrong but, wouldn't you use high temperature paint as it may peel from the heat off the lens?
Good write up! Simple, easy and affordable...

Lenses dont get that hot. Sure they get hot, but not the temps where paint will peel.
HTP is made for exhausts and brakes, where it gets VERY hot, not just warm.

Are they an actual panel? screwed onto the tops of the headlights. Do they have the brackets on the sides for the foglights?

Well done Craig... it's better than what i had before i did it properly... GO ELECTRICAL TAPE
this looks much neater...
but nothing tops the way it should be
easiest way to check if its a JDM headlight is if there is a metal cap inside the headlight infront of where the globe goes... nothing there = jdm... cap there = aus-spec

Not necessarily, my AuDM headlights do not have a glare filter infront of the globe. They are definately AuDM headlights as well, as they do not have the foglight brackets, nor the JDM grill brackets.
