4AGE 20v...'Blacktop'

i currently own a corolla sx and was planning to drop in the 20v silvertop engine until i found out that there is a more powerful version of this engine with better VVT:
silver = 119kw
black = 125kw
i know there r better ways to get power like the 4agze supercharged engine or even turbochrging the sx, but for now i just want to see how quick and fast i can make the car in just n/a form.
so just wondering if the blacktop is available for people in sydney, aus. and how much it will cost to purchase and do the conversion all up. thanks boys and girls!!
p.s- if any1 out there has either of these engines, let us know how hard they run/rev, much prfered if you've driven one...thanks again!!

im pretty sure there are blacktops available i havet really looked into them but im sure you could talk to an importer and he could organise somthing.
my 20v silvertop just got up and running and luv it, reving out to around 7g it really has some balls and sounds nice.
I gave a mate a small race on the highway on his kawasaki 250 and was in 3rd gear and dumped it. I had the power to beat him and did so by half a car with the running start although from a stand still he had my ass
I went from the 4afc to the 20v and the only thing i miss is the note the 4afc put out

There are many heated conversations out there with regard to the 20V engines.
Some say that they are good , some say they lack balls (eg. power figures stated by Toyota are said to be OVERRATED!!), and some say there is not much difference between both 20V (silver & black) and the 100kw 4A-GE.
For what its worth, I would love to drive around in a 20V just to hear those quad throttles at full bark, but if you rethink about having a 20V, you have to be revving the SHIZNIT out of it all day to get the thing moving and could in a short amount of time get on your nerves. Plus, revving an engine that hard could prove to be quite an attention seeker to the
BACON BOYS!

The VVT on the silvertop comes on at 4400 RPM, advances the intake cam timing by 30 degrees, then shuts down at 6400 RPM. On the blacktop the VVT comes on as early as 1700 RPM depending on throttle position and engine vacuum. It varies the amount of timing advance, and shuts down at 6400 RPM. This is why i would rather the blacktop over the silver. it hasnt got a huge difference in kw's but it is much more advance.
so, again, if anyone knows the cost all up, purchase price and conversion all up to fit a blacktop or silvertop into an sx corolla please let me know.
